The Travelers Club was born out of necessity.
Beginning as a San Diego-based group of friends simply tired of making weekly trips to Los Angeles in order to catch a decent show, The Travelers Club was created to provide a platform for San Diego's eclectic alternative art scene and transform the way events, entertainment and culture were perceived in their city. No glitz and glam of the Downtown nightlife or La Jolla's sterile white walls -- just events that would translate the unfiltered energy of people with something to say.
Since their start in 2014, The Travelers Club have since launched numerous successful event series', including the Warehouse Takeover, Each One Teach One Creative Workshops, Tunnel Vision’s Queer Club night, Color Theory’s POC-focused literary event, and Art & Rec, as well as partnerships with organizations such as Red Bull Music, House of Blues, LiveNation, Soulection, Hard Rock and the ACLU in the process.
Each series remains different, but in the end, all are made to promote one common goal: the development and cultivation of a strong cultural identity in the city of San Diego -- a city that deserves it's due shine.
